Terms & Conditions (Donation)
The online donations through HDFC net banking or credit/debit cards should be used only for making donations to the Trust -
Shree Jagjivanbapu Sevashram
- (termed as
SJS
for the sake of brevity). Funds are accepted by
SJS
only as donations and for no other purpose such as sale of products, services etc.
All donations accepted through on line methods will be accounted for as the income of the Trust and will be applied for the charitable purposes they are meant for. However, if the donor wishes to make a large donation to the Corpus of the Trust as its long term capital, then he / she should only use the cheque / payorder / DD method and state specifically in his / her covering letter that the donation is meant as contribution to the Corpus of
SJS
. In the absence of such specific direction, the donation will be accounted for as income of
SJS
by the Income Tax Dept.
The facility of making on line donations is open to all, Indians as well as Foreign nationals. The trust holds valid FCRA no. and is entitled to accept donations from foreign nationals. Currently donations are accepted in Indian Rupees (INR) only. Donors having foreign currency (other than INR) account / card with their bank will be charged with their respective currency amount equivalent to INR as per the exchange rates prevailing at the time of donation. All charges levied by the donor’s bank to the donor in respect to the online donations made to
SJS
have to be borne by the donor.
All donations will be accepted as donations meant for the various activities being undertaken by the Trust (Purpose-General) unless the donor specifies the purpose for which the donation should be used.
Indian nationals can avail tax benefits for the donations made to
SJS
under Section 80 G of the Income Tax Act as per the extant rules
will issue a receipt in favour of the donor (name as appearing on the donor registration form) towards the donation received and send at the address mentioned in the form along with a copy of the 80 G certificate, within 45 days of receiving the payment. In the rare case if you do not receive the receipt of donation made, as stated above, please contact

All donors making a donation of INR 50000/- or more, by law, are required to furnish their Permanent Account Number (PAN) allotted by Income Tax authorities, in the donor registration form.
Please note that while
SJS
makes no enquiries with regard to the source of funds for the donation, it is imperative for the donors that the applicable laws are followed in this regard.
We as a merchant shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of the decline of authorization for any Transaction, on Account of the Cardholder having exceeded the preset limit mutually agreed by us with our acquiring bank from time to time.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Once the donation has been made for either general or specific purpose, no refund or cancellation will be allowed towards the same nor can the end purpose be changed.
SJS
will not provide any cash back to donors. Donation made is eligible to be claimed as a charitable contribution to the extent permitted by law. No goods or services are provided to you in exchange for any contribution made to
SJS
.
Once the Donor registration form is filled on our website and the Credit / Debit card details are verified by our bank, the payment transaction shall be effected. All valid and effective transactions shall be considered as donations made by the card holder at will. The risk of any fraudulent transactions or transactions made on stolen cards shall entirely lie with the credit / debit card holder and / or its card issuing bank.
SJS
shall not be responsible in any ways for any such transactions if it may occur.
